Interviewer instructions
A housing unit is separate and Independent living premises for a household. This can be detached house, a guest flat, a flat in a block of flats, kraal, set of rooms, a mobile house (caravan or tent) or an improvised building. Facilities like kitchen, toilet may or may not be shared. A guest flat on the premises of a detached house occupied by a separate household should be regarded as a separate housing unit. Individual huts group of huts, walled or non-walled, occupied by one household should be regarded as one housing unit.
